Knows that even though there's only so much information he can gather from what's already been recorded over the past six months, he can't ignore any of it. He wouldn't have made it this far if he ignore the finer details.
When Natasha arrives, Clint doesn't waste time in tucking his device away, his equipment slung loosely over his shoulder as he makes his way back to the ground again. It takes him a few minutes, despite being familiar enough with the route he'd taken to get up there. But soon enough he's back on solid ground again, already offering up a grin, however short-lived it is.]

[ a half-hearted smile is offered in return, but it fades about as quickly as it appeared. she's dressed in her SHIELD jumpsuit as opposed to the one provided by the tranquility, and it's tricked out with her usual array of weapons. even in her downtime, even when she's sleeping, she's usually equipped with something, but since she can't depend on being able to replenish her ammo here, she hasn't been keeping everything on her.
she's not sure why being so heavily armed is a comfort right now. it's not as if weapons did much to help hotspur. ]
If you asked me, I'd probably put it a few steps below. [ a shoulder raises slightly in a shrug. ] Then again, I've been here longer.
Six months. [It's why he can't begrudge her those precautions. Walking around, clearly armed, may not work well back home, but this ship has already proven itself dangerous. Hotspur's death is only one small piece of the overall picture, and it's only a matter of time before more is revealed.]
Have they found any more records from before yet? [Something he knows would be better suited to Stark's skillset, but it's easier to get a straight answer from her. Of their whole team, he knows that Natasha and Tony would be the ones holding most of the information, and only one of them would offer it over without a side order of snark.]
[ she nods, bringing a hand up to rub at her eyes, then the back of her neck. there's a moment of quiet thought, going through what she can remember people finding before she answers. ]
The closest thing to anything like that was a few months back. People were getting lost in the hallways, and there was a search party sent out. I was a part of it. Eventually, the party got separated. I was paired off with another woman - Re-l Mayer - and we ended up finding a room.
[ a beat as she considers her next words. ] The room had a message written on the wall - 'don't believe everything they tell you.' And there were two skeletons on the floor, in the jumpsuits they provide everyone with, along with a plate of food and a note inviting us to 'rest for a while'. We were let out and the hallways went back to normal, but a couple months later, the messages from the red smiley started.
